December FUN!

We had a busy, but fun December. Here are some of the things we did...

Fiddlers Elementary Choir Concert

Brielle and Lainey decided to do choir this year. They go two times a week at 8 am. They have really enjoyed it. They had a really cute Christmas concert and sang a lot of songs. Lainey was a member of the "Jug Band", while Brielle was able to sing in a "Trio". They did really good!!

JAZZ GAME

We went to a Jazz game. They played the Indiana Pacers. We ate at Jason's Deli at the Gateway before the game. The Jazz wore "Green" jerseys. Our seats were in the upper bowl, but they were right at the center court line. Cooper lasted through the first half, but during the second half, Travis and I had to take turns walking with Coop. It was a fun night and to top it off, the Jazz WON!!

Lights at Thanksgiving Point

While we were in Salt Lake, we really wanted to go to Temple Square and This is the Place State Park. The temperature was only 19 degrees so we decided to just stay in the car and look at the lights at Thanksgiving Point.

It was fun seeing the different light displays.

Cabellas

After Thanksgiving Point, we headed to Cabellas. The kids loved looking at the animal displays and Travis did a little Christmas shopping while we were there.

Heritage Center Choir Performance

Brielle and Lainey were able to perform with their choir group at the Heritage Center.

After their performance, we went and saw Santa and then looked at all of the Christmas trees and other displays.

Basketball

Basketball has started and Brielle and Lainey are both playing this year. They have learned quite a bit and are having a fun time.

Creche' Festival

Each year our Stake puts on a Creche' Festival. During the festival, they have a live nativity. Brielle and Lainey were angels this year. My mom made their costumes. The girls had a great time. Lainey was really serious about being an angel. She had the most serious look on her face during the nativity. It was so precious!!

Bowling Night

The girls have been begging for a long time to go bowling. We finally went for family night. Everyone had a lot of fun!

We bought a gingerbread house kit. Cooper didn't help much. He only ate the candy. Brielle and Lainey enjoyed decorating the house and the gingerbread people!
