Christmas Eve 2010 started out with us making our annual gingerbread house. We bought a gingerbread house kit so we decided it wouldn't be that hard to make...ummm, WRONG. We started putting frosting on the house and trying to stick it together with not luck. We would get one side up and the other side would start falling down. The roof was the worst. It just kept sliding. After a while, we finally put enough frosting on it to keep it put for a minute while we snapped a picture. About 5 minutes after the picture, the house fell. But never fear. I got the glue gun out and fixed it right up!

On Christmas Eve evening, we had a dinner at our house. Grandma Bon, Grandpa Jeff, Grandma Cynthia, Grandpa Greg, Grandma Dot, Grandpa Keith, Bev, Lloyd, Brett, Wade, Barbara Imlay and the Spring/Prisbrey Family joined us. We had sweet pork and rice, salads and desserts. After dinner the girls read and performed Jingle Bells and Cooper got his groove on dancing to some Christmas music for all of us to see. Then we watched a movie about the Christmas story.

After everyone left, the kids opened their Christmas PJ's and slippers. We have a tradition that every Christmas Eve, the kids sleep in our room so after the kids opened their PJ's, we got their beds ready in our room and read the Christmas Story, then the kids were ready for bed!
