Day 2 in Hawaii was PEARL HARBOR DAY for us. Travis' mom really wanted to see this. Even though we had been there a year ago, we still had fun and enjoyed it a lot! They had done a lot since we had been there last including putting in a museum. It was really cool!!

They had all of these neat quotes around Pearl Harbor. This one is by Eleanor Roosevelt and it says, "Dear Lord/Lest I continue/My complacent way/Help me to remember/Somehow out there/A man died for me today/As long as there be war/I then must/Ask and answer/Am I worth dying for?
On the way over to the Arizona, we noticed a Coast Guard ship leaving their port. All of the people on the ship stood at attention while their ship passed the USS Arizona. Very cool
After we saw the USS Arizona, we decided to go over and see the Mighty Mo or the USS Missouri. We had to take a bus over to the ship.

The ship was huge. A guy gave us a small tour of the ship and told us the history of it.
The girls looking pretty small compared to the ship. The ship has wooden floors...
After we looked around on top of the ship for a while, we headed under the ship. It was cool to see how different rooms there were under the ship.

Before we left, we decided to go to the front of the ship. You have to see the ship in person to really appreciate how big it really is!
