Go DYNAMITE...

At the end of the soccer season last spring, parents on Brielle's soccer team started talking about getting a "Traveling Soccer Team" together. The team was good enough and we initially decided to combine our team with another coach and make two teams, but we soon found out that we wouldn't be able to keep our girls together. Brielle's coach, Trinity, had some personal problems going on in her life at that time and had said that she couldn't take on the responsibility of head coach. After looking into what the "Traveling Soccer" was all about, I decided to take the plunge and volunteer to coach. It turned out to be a great decision. In order to coach a competitive team, you have to have an "E" license in soccer coaching. I was able to take that class during the summer along with Trinity (she decided to be my assistant coach).

We got our team together and had our first practice in July. It was a good first season with our record being 6 wins 4 losses and taking 3rd place out of six teams. There were three teams from Cedar and three teams from St George. Brielle did very well. I love watching her play and she does really well as a forward and as a defender. She is has an AMAZING kick, with her left foot no less. We had a great group of girls and are looking forward to another season of competitive soccer in the spring.
